All About Math Day

We have no classes last January 11, 2008 because it is Math Day. The Math Department -- teachers and officers prepared some games for that day and they made each MunScian's day very great and full of enjoyment.

The Math Day started with the cheering competition wherein each group have to prepare their cheer/yell. The winner for this competition is the Rediquit team. It was then followed by random games such as Text the Answer, Tug-of-grades, and many more. I was supposed to be a player for the game, "Text the Answer". But since I'm not really that good in Math, I did not join the game. Ehehe! I just listed my name on the game "Longest Pace," but it was not played. So sad! :(

After these games, there was the Dance Revo wherein every sections have to dance to the song "Hey Mickey!" The class is divided into half. The first half joins the Dance Revo and the other in the Song Revo. I was included in the Song Revo. Uhmm... No questions asked. Hahaha! Our section was not really prepared for the Dance Revo competition. They actually thought of backing out of the competition. But they didn't. Good for them. They only thought that this competition is just for fun. And yeah, they had fun during their dance. All of the sections who performed were good but the most noticing performances were by Pauli, Pascal, Pasteur and Priestley.

In the evening, we presented the Song Revo. Honestly, we only practiced our song to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas hours before the presentation. For me, we did a good job on stage even though only our section presented a comic performance. Most of them were serious. Maybe because the highlight of our performance is none other than me. Hehe! We just had fun like what our classmates on Dance Revo did.

Talking about the camp, I would say that this camp, the Math Camp, is the best camp ever. I really had fun and I enjoyed everything especially what happened before the night ends. we had bands who performed great and we watched spectacular fireworks right after.

Christmas '07

At ayun. Ang aking Christmas ngayong 2007. Ehehe. Unang-una, nagsimba kami ng 8 AM. Umuwi ng bahay at nag-ayos ng gamit para saBatangas. Dumiretso na kaming Batangas mga 11 AM. Sa daan, bumili kami sa Starbucks -- Toffee Nut Frapuccino. Kinuhanan ko ng litrato ung expressway -- Calabarzon (sa kaliwa). Marami pang litratong nakuha bago kami nakarating ng Batangas. Puntahan niyo nalang dito.

Ayun. Sa Batangas na kami! Nagkainan muna tapos simula na nung Christmas Party na taun-taong ginaganap sa Carrido. 14 years na daw isinasagawa ang ganitong kasiyahan. *Nosebleed* Ahaha! Nasa kanan yung poster na kung saan nakalagay ang mga pangalan tsaka description ata. Ehehe. Mayroong games at tsaka sayawan. Bigay-todo sa pagsayaw si Marc Christian. Haha! :D

Syempre di mawawala ung exchange gifts. Ang aking monito ay yung bigay-todo sa pagsayaw -- Marc Christian. Ahaha! Tapos ako rin pala ang monito niya. Dahil dun, nakatanggap ako ng chocolates. Kapag nagkapalitan lang ung dalawa, may chocolate na! Ahaha! Muntik na kong ma-toothsieroll.

Ito nga pala yung natanggap ko sa exchange gifts. Pink t-shirt na nagsasabing Have Feelings Too. Haha! Emo eh! :D

Haha! Ayun lang. Pasensya na. Tinatamad lang talaga ko gumawa ng entry. Ahaha! Maiupdate lang :P

Sportsfest

We had the opening of our annual Sportsfest/Intramurals. We are the Yellow team with four other sections, namely Avogadro, Arrhenius, Evans and Fermi. I did not join any sports/games because I'm not actually good on those. There were also booths such as Jail booth, Horror booth, Videoke booth, and Movie booth. I did enter on some booths but most of the time, I only watched games where the Yellow Team is playing. There was a time when I was caught was brought to the jail booth. But it was not for real! A third year student who is in-charge in that booth caught me for he thought that the students who will be caught are those wearing Chucks and slippers. But actually, students with Chucks are the only ones who will be caught. Aww. Hehe!

December 20, 2007
I went to school at exactly 2 PM. It was not for the intramurals, but for meeting Khim and go to the mall for the Christmas gifts. But sadly, we were not allowed to go outside until the fest ends. For that, we just watched Basketball and Volleyball. I was actually happy and enjoyed with the events that had happened in our last Intramurals at MunSci even though I did not join any sports. But at least, I participated in some booths. :)

Medyo ayoko pang pumasok. Biglang nagbago isip eh. Haha! Di ko pa kasi tapos yung book report ko sa English. Nalilito pa ko kung anong approach gagamitin ko. Sa mga nakapagbasa na ng The Old Man and the Sea, tulong naman. Hehe :D

Pasahan na nung Lab Manual sa Physics. Punta pa kaming school bukas ni Keisha para kunin yung libro na yun. Pumunta ko nung Wednesday eh, wala namang susi. Wala rin kaming napala ni Roanne. Aw. Sana bukas may mapala kami ni Keisha. Hahaha! Sasama sana ko sa Taytay kila Mama bukas eh. May namatay kasi kaming kamag-anak na taga-roon. Kaya lang marami talagang gawain na dapat tapusin. Hayy...

Nga pala, masaya naman yung pagpunta ko sa Batangas nitong November 1 at 2. Haha! Wala na talaga kong ibang ginawa kundi kumain lang ng kumain. Wahaha! Takaw talaga eh. Dami kong nakain. Lalo na yung spaghetti. TAKAW!

Ano ba yang sembreak na yan? Kahaba-haba pa, dami namang kailangang gawin. Nakakatamad. Buti nalang di na ko kasali sa SIP na yan. English nalang dapat kong gawin. Hindi ko pa tapos basahin yung novel na naassign sakin, pero sinisimulan ko na gawin yung reaction paper. Mythological-Archetypal Approach gagamitin ko.

Wala na kong ibang ginagawa dito sa bahay kundi mag-internet, mag-02jam, kumain ng kumain ng kumain, magbasa ng novel, manood ng tv... Hayy! :| Dapat may Adopt-A-Non-reader Program nalang ngayon eh, para naman maging produktibo sembreak ko. Haha!

Buti nalang pala, umatend ako nung First Aid/ CPR Training. Haha! Naku kung hindi, wala akong mapapala dito sa bahay. Hehe. Masaya naman yung training eh. VICTIM! :P

Ito yung naratib ko tungkol sa ginawa naming project sa Filipino:

Sa simula, napagkasunduan ng aming grupo na gawin na lamang pelikula ang napili naming akda – “Lupain ng Taglamig”. Matagal bago kami nakapagsimulang gawin ang plano, kaya naman naisipan namin na gawin na lamang drama sa radyo ang presentasyon. Para sa akin, mas magandang isapelikula ang akdang aming napili, ngunit kulang na talaga sa oras dahil sa dami ng ginagawa.

Sinimulan naming gawin ang proyektong ito noong Sabado, pagkatapos ng Adopt-a-non-reader Program. Hindi nakasama si Fedis Mahilum noong araw na iyon. Siya ang naatasang gumawa ng iskrip ngunit hindi niya naintindihan ang huling bahagi ng akda dahil sa ito’y sadyang masalimuot. Nagtulungan nalang kami sa paggawa ng iskrip noong araw ding iyon, ngunit hindi namin natapos. Umuwi na ang iba, kaya naman kaming mga natira na lamang ang nagrekord ng nasimulang iskrip. Ako ang nagboses sa bida na si Shimamura, sapagkat ako na lamang ang natitirang lalaki sa amin.

Huwebes na ng magawa namin ang pagrerekord. Pinatungan namin ang nairekord namin noong Sabado, sapagkat binago namin ang skrip. Ako dapat ulit ang magboboses kay Shimamura ngunit ako ay nagprisinta na maging narrator na lamang. Ako, bilang narrator, ay madalas magkamali sa aking mga sinasabi. Madalas rin akong matawa gaya ng aking mga kagrupo pag kami’y nagrerekord. Mayroon ring pagkakataon na mali ang pagkakabasa namin sa mga salita kaya naman nagtatagal pa kami. Ang isang maganda sa aming ginawa ay ang paggamit namin ng iba’t ibang tunog gaya ng electric fan, mga paa namin, at iba pa. Ngunit sa kasamaang palad, hindi pa rin namin natapos ang pagrerekord dahil hindi pa rin tapos ang iskrip at isa pa ay dahil gabing-gabi na at malayo pa ang tirahan naming magkakagrupo. Napagpasyahan namin na sa paaralan na lamang ituloy ang pagrerekord. Ngunit hindi naman namin nagawa at sinabing pag-uwi na lamang. Hindi dumating si Anthony Romero na naghahawak ng iskrip kaya hindi rin kami nakagawa.

Kinabukasan, araw ng pasahan ng proyekto, sa paaralan nalang kami nagrekord. Sa kabutihan palad, natapos naman namin ang aming proyekto. Hindi man masyadong maganda ang aming nagawa, masaya pa rin kami.

Nakakalungkot mang sabihin, hindi ko masyadong gusto ang aking grupo. Sa tuwing kami’y magmimiting ay wala kaming nagagawa o natatapos, sapagkat hindi lahat ay umaatend. Walang miting na ang aming grupo ay kumpleto. Maraming hindi pagkakaintindihan sa pagitan ng mga miyembro ng grupo. Pero kahit na ganoon, hindi ako nagsisisi sa lahat ng nangyari sa aming grupo."

Haha! Ganun talaga buhay. May mas malala pa dyan. Yung gawa ng iba ko pang mga kagrupo. :))

UST entrance exam na bukas. Kakapasa lang namin ng application form last week, eh ito na agad.

Bukas na ung test, nandito pa rin ako sa harap ng computer. Di pa ko nagrerebyu, maya-maya pa. Hehe. Sabi kasi ni Mina, English daw ung dapat pagtuunan ng pansin, kasi kakaiba daw ung mga salita. Naku! Noseblooding yun! :))

Sana matapos ko yung test. Hindi na ko mag-iiwan ng blanko. Ginawa ko kasi un nung UP eh. Di ko natapos ung reading comprehension. Tsaka may unting blanko sa Math. Aw. Pag naaalala ko un, mas lalo ko lang naiisip na wala na talaga. Huhu :(( Drama eh.

Pumunta kami ng UST nung Saturday para magpasa ng application form. Kasama ko sina Heide, Ralph, Lisette at Roanne. At yun, sa September 23 na agad ung test namin. Buti nalang, may kasama ko sa room, si Roanne. :D

Diretso kami ng Jollibee. At sa bus, lahat sila tulog. Kami lang ni Heide ang gising, at nag-iingay pa. Wahaha! >:)
