Rizal at Papaya

Hayy... salamat at wala na ako masyadong poproblemahin sa mga oras na to. Naganap na ang lahat ng dapat maganap kanina.

Tapos na ako mag-recite sa Filipino tungkol sa pelikulang Jose Rizal. At eto yung tanong sakin:

Natapos na rin yung Defense namin sa aming SIP. Absent yung dalawa sa group namin kaya naman hinati-hati nalang namin yung mga parte ng SIP sa mga present. Napunta sakin yung Background of the Study at tsaka yung Scope and Limitation. Naks naman!

STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
It has been known that Papaya fruit trees are included in our four "power herbs", having a long history and evidence of being a very effective medicinal plant. Papayas like to be warm with both sunshine and reflected heat, thus it could be found throughout the Philippines. Through the years, scientists and researchers have conducted scientific investigations to determine and unveil different uses of the different parts of the papaya fruits and trees but it has been observed that there were only few instances wherein the leaves are recognized.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION
The study will focus on the effectiveness of papaya leaf extract on the prevention of the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. It also involves comparison between the commercial products and the developed treatment for infectious microbial activity of the Staphylococcus aureus.

The investigators do not seek to find bad aspects of the commercial products. And the study does not cover or include the effect of the Carica papaya leaf extract against other bacteria except the Staphylococcus aureus.

Kaya yun, napakaingay sa labas tapos narinig siya ni kuya, nagalit. Pinapasok ko na si Tito sa loob ng bahay, nag-iingay na naman siya. Tapos nagalit ulit si kuya, bakit di pa daw natutulog. Tapos yun... galit na galit na si kuya. Pinapalabas niya si Tito pero kanina pinapatulog niya. Nang makalabas na si Tito, nagbasag si kuya ng bote sa harapan nito. Eh ako naman, wala lang. Nanonood lang ako ng Wowowee. Pagkatapos ng basagan, biglang nagdrama si Tito at umiyak. Yihee! Tuwang-tuwa ako ng mga oras na yun eh. Hindi dahil sa awayan, kundi dahil sa dramahan. Haha!

One week, atbp.

Hayy... last day na ng klase kanina. Sembreak na! Kaya lang one week rin akong tutunganga sa bahay! Matagal-tagal rin yun! Hahaha! Biro lang. Marami rin naman akong gagawin, kain, tulog, nood ng tv, computer, at marami pang iba. Magbabasa rin ng 12 little things?! Siguro. Hehe!

Tumaas yung resulta ng tests ko sa halos lahat ng subjects, maliban lang sa Trigonometry at Algebra. Hayy... Math nga naman! Line of 2 ako sa parehas na yun eh... out of 50! 27 sa Trigo. Wag na yung algebra... masyadong mababa! Wawa naman ako... :-(

Ano pa ba?! Ayun! Napakaraming projects na pinasa kanina. Yung sa values namin, sinimulan lang kaninang umaga at natapos rin ng hapon. Haha! Maayos-ayos rin naman kahit papano.

Yun lang po. Sige. Babye! ^_^

Tests

Nagsimula na yung periodical test kahapon. Ayos lang naman kahit medyo mahirap yung iba. Wahh... Sayang yung problem solving sa Physics! Yung length na nandun ay HALF of eleven, ang nalagay ko eleven! Di kasi nagbabasa ng mabuti eh! Hahaha!

Tapos kanina naman, eto yung mga test: Geometry, English, Filipino at Values. Tinatamad ako magsagot. Simula ba naman kasi Geometry. Hehe! Wahaha!

October is UN Month

October ngayon kaya naman UN month. Daming project/activity na kailangang gawin para sa AP. Kasama dun ung landmark and UN song. Singapore ung nabunot namin na country kaya naman Merlion ung gagawin namin. Ung UN song naman ay tungkol sa social change.

Nasimulan na namin ung mga yun. Yung landmark, ginagawa na namin kila sa Stefanie, gawa sa dyaryo. May nagawa na rin naman kami sa UN song, meron nang lyrics. Ang problema, hindi pa nakakapagrecord. Buti nalang sa Friday pa yun ipapasa. *_*

Eto pa yung mas malala, nakasali ako sa mga kakanta nung kanta. Mamaya matalo lang kami at bumagyo pa. Hehe! Pero ayos lang yun. Diba?

Ayun ung masaklap dun eh. Uhh... too bad naman kung ganun! Weh!

Basta nakakatuwa talaga tong Super Inggo, c pareng Budong, no mga tol?! Hehe! Panoorin nyo nalang, may matututunan pa kayo! Yun lang!

Sa monday na ung periodical test. Kailangan kong mag-aral ng maigi para naman mag-improve yung mga score ko dati. Dati kasi halos bagsak ako sa lahat eh. Pero buti nalang walang bagsak sa card! Wahaha! At ang bonus pa, walang line of 7! Puro 80 nga lang! Hehe.

Mga itetest sa monday: Research, Physics, Trigonometry at TLE (Culinary Arts). Dami! Sana makayananan ko 'toh!

The Little Things

According to Mr. Alexander L. Lacson, there are 12 little things every Filipino can do to help the Philippines, our country. These little things are as follows:

1. Follow traffic rules.
2. Always ask for an official receipt.
3. Don't buy smuggled goods.
4. When talking to others, speak positively about our country.
5. Respect our traffic officer, policemen, soldier.
6. Do not litter.
7. Support your church.
8. During elections, do your solemn duty.
9. Pay your employees well.
10. Pay your taxes.
11. Adopt a scholar.
12. Be a good parent.

These little things are just easy to do. These really can help our country in improving in different ways. These could also promote us as people with good manners and that we are well-disciplined, especially in the eyes of the world. We must help our country be a better place to live in with just doings these 12 simple things.

A Medal at My Bro's Day

Today is my Kuya's birthday and he's turning 21. My Mom just cooked food at home and my bro just invited some of his classmates and friends.

I'm happy and surprised when I went home from school because different types of food awaited me. I thought that only few will be cooked because Mom said that my bro will just spend his birthday with his friends. But never mind with that thing. Important is that there's food. Just kidding! What is really important is that my bro had just been a year older. :)

And btw, I just got my first ever medal at MunSci this day for winning second place in Pagsulat ng Sanaysay. It was totally unexpected. Hehe!

Second Quarter na! Kailangan nang mag-ayus-ayos. Lalo na ngayon, mukhang bagsak ako sa 1st quarter sa Advanced Algebra or Trigonometry o pareho. Wag naman sana! Haha!

Basta next time nalang ulit ako magpopost. Dami pa kong ginagawa sa ngayon eh. Daming assignment!

Macbeth's Language

Honestly, I find it hard understanding the story of Macbeth. According to the book that I have read, reading Shakespeare's language can be a problem -- but it is a problem that can be solved. Even if you have learned different languages such as Latin, French, German, Spanish and many others, you will still have little difficulty understanding the language of Shakespeare's poetic drama.

When reading on one's own, one must do what each actor does: go over the lines or use a dictionary until the problems are solved.

In reading this literature, we may notice unfamiliar words, phrases, etc. Unfamiliar because we really no longer use them such as "coign" which means corner, "aroint thee" which means begone, and "anon" which means right away. But the most problematic words are those that we still use in different meanings. Some of these are "present" meaning immediate, and "receipt" meaning receptacle.

What values do I need to develop?

As a person, there are values that I need to develop for myself and with others. These values will help me improve myself and I too could be a role model to others.

One of the values that I need to develop is that I must have self-confidence. Being self-confident can help me achieve my goals easily. Another value that I need is to have patience. I must be patient in every little thing that I do.

I should also respect every rights of other people and respect what they are as human beings. I also must be obedient with people around me because this is a way of respecting people.

And last, but definitely not the least, is that I must have faith in God. God is very powerful that He bless us always in all our doings. He's always willing to help us if we need help from Him.

These are just some of the values I need to develop for the improvement of myself.

Parang bata!

Nagpunta nga pala kami sa SM Southmall Storyland nung Sabado kasi birthday nung anak ng officemate ni Mama. Kaunti lamang yung mga nakarating. Pero ayos lang, masaya rin naman. Merong face painting kaya lang hindi ako nagpaface paint. Meron ding magic show. At syempre hindi mawawala yung kainan. Haha! Galing sa McDo yung kinain namin.

Meron din nung Ride-All-You-Can. Una kong sinakyan yung Roller Coaster. Nakisigaw na rin ako dun sa mga nasigaw eh. Wala kasi akong magawa. Hehe! Yung iba ko pang sinakyan ay yung Bumble Bee, Airplane, Merry-Go-Round, tapos ung naikot na mabagal [hindi ko alam yung tawag eh]. Hindi lang ako sumakay sa Bump Car. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Basta! Masaya-saya rin naman kahit papano. Parang bata eh noh?! Haha!

Le Morte d' Arthur

Nakakainis! Laging kulelat yung grupo namin sa bawat activity tungkol sa Le Morte. Masyado kasing magagaling yung nasa ibang grupo eh. Tapos ang hirap pa nila magpaquiz. Nagbabasa rin naman ako ng Le Morte d' Arthur kahit papano.

Kami na susunod na magprepresent tungkol sa Le Morte. Dapat nga kahapon pa eh kaya lang walang klase. Tapos ngayon wala ulit klase. Hayy... haha! Hayaan niyo GROUP II... babawi tayo! Kaya natin yan! Lalo na ngayo't mukhang maganda yung presentation natin. Gaganti tayo sa kanila! Hehe! Joke lang!

Tapos mamayang 1:30 pm may practice pa sa Jingle Rap para sa TLE. Hindi ko nga lang alam kung makakapunta ko. Bahala na nga! Haha!

A while ago, my sister and I watched two movies at our place. They're entitled Final Destination 3 and She's The Man. These two films have already been previewed in the cinemas. We just watched these because we're really bored and we wanted to enjoy our day.

Final Destination 3 is the sequel to the films, Final Destination 1 and 2. It has a tagline which is

This ride will be the death of you.

It is set in a rollercoaster. This film talks about a high school student who fails to stop the fated rollercoaster ride that she predicted would cause the deaths of several of her friends. She teams with her schoolmate in a race against time. It's a horror film and so gory because of the cause of their deaths such as bodies burned, beheaded and bodies cut into half.

Another film we watched was She's The Man. It's so interesting! A girl disguised as if she is her twin brother and come to his brother's school to join the soccer team in order to prove that she can do it even though she's a girl. It's a great film! =)

Choco Butter Cookies

Nung Thursday, sinimulan namin yung pagbebake ng Choco Butter Cookies. Hindi natapos dahil wala kaming dalang butter. Yung iba wala ring dala. How Sad?!? Wala naman kasing nakalagay na butter dun sa ingredients eh. Hindi tuloy kami nagdala. Pero nasa "title" naman nung cookies ung butter, hindi namin naisip [noong thursday lang]. Hayy... CHOCO BUTTER COOKIES!

Tapos nung Friday naman, tuloy na yung baking. Muntik ngang wala na namang butter eh... walang nagdala, kaya bumili nalang kami sa malapit sa school. Ayun, tinuloy na namin ang Choco Butter Cookies. Gamit ang pastry bag, nagkaroon ng iba't ibang shape yung cookies namin. After 15 minutes, meron na kaming cookies! Inakyat na namin at naghingian yung iba naming classmates. Isa lang nakain ko, dami kasing humingi eh. Masarap-sarap rin naman kahit papano. Kaya lang, hindi nakatikim yung teacher naman! Haha! lol. Wala tuloy kaming grade. Sabi ni Ma'am, ibake nalang daw sa bahay at dalhin bukas. Yung leader nalang namin yung gagawa. Haha talaga! Wawa naman si Granny. Hindi nakakain ng cookies namin! Kami rin kawawa, walang grade! :(
